Some of them are under-construction while some exist only on papers as of now.

India Tower and GIFT Diamond Tower.

India Tower

City: Mumbai

Planned Height: 2,362 ft

Floors: 125

Status: On-hold

DB Realty was constructing the tower that would be the tallest building in India and also among the tallest in the world.

Work had begun on the project but in 2011 the municipal corporation of Mumbai issued a stop notice and demanded a premium of Rs 200 crore from the developer. Since then, the future of the project has been uncertain.

GIFT Diamond Tower

City: Gandhinagar

Height: 1,345 ft

Floors: 86

Status: Approved

The building would be part of the Gujarat International Finance Tec-City in Gandhinagar. The complex is expected to be completed by 2017.

World One

City: Mumbai

Height: 1,450 ft

Floors: 117

Status: Under-construction

The project is being constructed by Lodha Group. The project, designed by Pei Cobb Freed & Partners and Leslie E Robertson Associates, has won many awards globally.

One of the landmark features of this iconic development with an exclusive observatory is called '1000' which would be located at a height of 1,000 feet.

According to the company, this open-to-air observatory will allow residents to enjoy fabulous views of the city and the Arabian Sea. It is estimated that a person can see as far away as 60 kms from the building from this height.

Lanco Hills Signature Tower

City: Hyderabad

Height: 2,067 ft

Floors: 114

Status: Project approved

Lanco Hills Signature Tower.

The tower would be constructed by the company Lanco Hills. The company is constructing a mixed-use development project by the same name - Lanco Hills - and the Signature Tower will be a part of it. According to the company’s website Lanco Hills is one of the world’s largest single-phase development projects and cost $1.5 billion.

Status: Approved

The project would be constructed by Shreepati Group. It is a mixed-use project. Some of the facilities include business centre, mini theatre, gymnasium, Olympic size swimming pool with a baby pool, and Vaastu and Aura conformed homes.

Celestia Spaces

City: Mumbai

Height: 1,312 ft

Floors: 80

Celestia Spaces.Status: Proposed

Bhattad Group is the owner of a 19-acre piece of land in Parel-Sewree area where these towers would come up.

The proposed towers consist of above 70 floors in Crescent I and Crescent II with podium consisting of Celestia Commercial Centre in the five floor levels and seven upper floors of car parking.
