Conning customers at petrol bunks
A few days ago I went to the petrol bunk at Neredmet and got petrol worth Rs 250 filled. The boy there filled petrol of Rs 49.40 and said he was done. I reminded him that I had asked him to fill petrol for Rs 250. He then continued the meter from Rs 49.40 and stopped at Rs 200 telling me that he has already filled petrol of Rs 50 earlier and now the total was total Rs 250. I got very angry and asked him to spare me such cheap tricks. He argued and stood to the ground stating that he had filled petrol for the amount which I had asked for. To make sure that such incidents do not repeat, I request the authorities to look into the issue, and stop these petty crimes that these petrol bunks partake in. I request them to make provisions for stringent action to be initiated on these petrol bunk persons.

Need to recarpet roads
This is regarding our Mallikurjuna Colony Road No 3, Old Bowenpally. The roads in our colony have been dug for the purpose of laying drainage pipes. It being the main road, accidents are bound to happen at night. This is a very serious issue as there have been a number of road accidents in recent times. It is even more surprising to note that the elected leaders are not doing their job. Where are the funds going if not into their pockets? This is my humble request to the GHMC and the concerned leaders to re-carpet the roads immediately.

Stray dog menace at Kukatpally
Repeated letters to the authorities have been futile. There has been a considerable increase in the stray dog population in our area, Madavaram Nagar. It is difficult for children to step out of the house as there are always two or three dogs outside and are extremely aggressive. These dogs, possibly infected with disease, are a threat to us. I have already complained to various authorities and requested them to send a team to handle the situation. It was in vain. I request the authorities to look into this matter.

Mend the roads
I filed a complaint with the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) online about the debris that was left in the wake of laying pipes in our lane. Roads were dug and crudely filled. It has become difficult to commute. Now, passersby are using various spots along the road as open urinals. I filed the complaint with the GHMC on September 16 and till now no action has been taken. The Chief Minister has said that within 24 hours our complaints would be attended to, but it has been days. I request the GHMC officials to please mend the roads as quickly as possible.

Reinstate old post office
The post office at Bagh Lingampally served effectively for the residents of the area and the surrounding areas of Chikkadpally, Achaiahnagar. All of a sudden the post office was closed without prior information. Now the residents have to go far for using the post office services and are facing a lot of trouble. Precious time is lost. Therefore, I request the postal authorities to reinstate the post office at the old premises for the benefit of the residents immediately.

Either a misunderstanding or a cheap trick
This is regarding an issue I faced last month at the ICICI Bank branch at Diamond Point. I was paying an EMI for the first time so I carried statements of both credit card and EMI loan. On approaching an official, I was asked to pay the amount towards my credit card number. A week later I received a phone call from the bank people telling me that the amount wasn’t received. I insisted that I’d paid and they reasoned that the EMI must be paid towards a loan account number and not towards the credit card number. So I told the person calling that the bank could transfer the amount that I’d paid towards my credit to the EMI. The person on the phone accepted but said that I would be charged a late fee of Rs1,500. Why should I keep silent when I paid the amount before the due date? It is either that there was some sort of misunderstanding or they are acting smart. I demand compensation. This is my humble request to the ICICI bank higher officials to look into the matter and solve the problem immediately and don't waste the customer’s time.

High time to take action
Recently four persons were electrocuted, and the news was carried in almost all papers on September 16.
Such an incident happened some 10 years back at the same location (near Telugu University - Nampally Bus Stop) under similar weather conditions. It was raining and wires had fallen on some people who were waiting for a bus. They died on the spot. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and the electricity board should take some concrete steps at such accident prone areas such as bus stops and places with heavy traffic, where these high-tension lines pass, to ensure the safety of people. This is my request to the authorities concerned to take appropriate steps to see that such deaths do not occur again.

Special buses forpeak hours
The people of Saleem Nagar Colony, Malakpet, are facing difficulty to get RTC buses during office hours. The bus stop becomes full with office goers, college students and other commuters. The buses that come from Dilsukhnagar are always full and there is no place for people to get into the bus. There is a need to start short trip buses from Super Bazar Stop, Malakpet to Secretariat, especially during 8 am to 10 am to mobilise the crowd. Then we would be able to reach at the office on time. I request the RTC officials to do so immediately to help commuters.
