The economic development of the country is largely dependent on industrial production. Highlighting its importance, D Nagaiah, former director of National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (NI-MSME), said, “Fresh graduates should explore the potential of service sector which is expanding rapidly in the country.”

Addressing MBA students of Kakaraparti Bhavanarayana (KBN) College in the city on Friday, Nagaiah said, “Setting up of small and micro industries is also a good option without craving for white collar jobs. It is always beneficial to the society if an educated youth becomes an employer rather than an employee. The government and banks are encouraging prospective entrepreneurs to set up small and micro units by offering several incentives.” MBA director Y Narasimha Rao, senior faculty Majarunissa and others were present.
