College chairman Gokaraju Murali Ranga Raju lighted the lamp to mark the inauguration of the symposium.

Chief guests D Sivaramakrishna, development manager, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Machilipatnam, and V Harinath, senior engineer, BEL, Bengaluru, underlined the need for greater emphasis on research and development to enable the country to achieve rapid technological advancement. Sivaramakrishna and Harinath, alumni of the college, said, “Students should develop competitiveness to achieve career growth and to ensure that the country is in the forefront of technological advancements.”

The college management felicitated the former students on the occasion and a souvenir was released to mark the occasion. College principal D Ranga Raju, who presided over the inaugural session, inaugurated a robotics workshop. ECE department head KVSN Raju, IT department head G Parthasarathi Varma, faculty PV Rama Raju, symposium coordinators G Nagaraju and Harish Varma and others were present.
