MP Kesineni Srinivas MP Kesineni Srinivas announced that the government has cleared the proposal for a flyover near Kanakadurga temple. The MP, who had been working on the proposal for quite some time, finally received clearances from the State and the Central governments.

The MP said that the Union Ministry of Road Transport and National Highways had sent a letter to the State government for clearing the two proposals of construction of a flyover at the Kanakadurga temple and linking it with the four lane highway at Krishnalanka.

“The 2.3 km long flyover would be constructed from Bhavanipuram Lorry Stand to the Municipal Corporation Office passing through Kanakadurga temple, Ashok Pillar and across the Krishna Eastern Main Canal. It will connect to 2.7 km four lane road,” he said.

Kesineni added that the government had also cleared the proposal of providing a four lane road from the Municipal Corporation Office to the Kanakaudrgamma Varadhi at Krishnalanka. This would clear the traffic problems being faced by the people.

The MP claimed that he was able to fulfill his one of the election promises by getting clearance for the flyover and the four lane road. He thanked Chief Minister N Chanrababu Naidu for getting clearance from the Central government. He said that the State and the Central governments would lay the foundation stone for this prestigious project shortly.
