Housing society champions crowned winners. PNB MetLife India hosted the ‘PNB MetLife RWA Badminton Championship’ – a pan India Housing Society Badminton Championship- in the city on Sunday.
PNB MetLife India hosted the ‘PNB MetLife RWA Badminton Championship’ – a pan India Housing Society Badminton Championship- in the city on Sunday. P Gopinath from the general category, Samuel Clinton from the junior category and ASN Prasad from the senior category were crowned winners from the city. The event was conducted at the Chanda Nagar Sports Stadium.

The winners were felicitated by Anees Sheikh, regional head, agency sales, at the end of the tournament. Through this initiative, PNB MetLife reached out to more than two lakh households across the country. The finals were organised under three categories including junior category with an age bracket up to 15 years of the players, general category with age bracket of 16 years – 45 years and senior category with age up to 45 years plus.
Aimed at bringing back healthy family time back into the limelight, PNB MetLife successfully engaged with more than 750 residential societies and over 25,000 badminton enthusiasts across five cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Bengaluru through this initiative.
