Battle of Bands at Central today
Central Battle of Bands is a music based connect programme to showcase talented and upcoming college, professional and corporate bands who will be competing to win the ‘Best Band of the City’ award. This weekend, Hyderabad will be rocking to some of the upcoming artists from 3 pm like Psychaotic, Sound Smugglers, Encountered 777 among others who will be playing compositions
Hunt for Hyderabad’s top rock bands for 2015
Central Battle of Bands is a music based connect programme to showcase talented and upcoming college, professional and corporate bands who will be competing to win the ‘Best Band of the City’ award. This weekend, Hyderabad will be rocking to some of the upcoming artists from 3 pm like Psychaotic, Sound Smugglers, Encountered 777 among others who will be playing compositions from various genres such as heavy rock, thrash metal, speed metal, classic rock, country and blues.
Judging the show will be AV Satish Chandra, professor of political science, Osmania University. He has been an intricate part of the rock scene in Hyderabad since 1987. Originally a lead singer with Zeus, Satish has also played drums on few occasions. He also co-wrote a song for Sol Pharma and is presently working on creating a concept album.
