Paying rich tributes to Sri Sri at the literary meet, All India Radio Vijayawada Station Director M Krishna Kumari said some people had a `misconception' that the legendary poet and lyricist focused more on socialist ideology in his writings. “Sri Sri's literary works reflect all genres of the society,” she said.

Describing Sri Sri as the first true modern Telugu poet who highlighted the issues related to common man, Andhra Arts Academy secretary Golla Narayana Rao said `Maha Prasthanam' was undoubtedly the greatest contribution of the legendary poet to literature.

Film lyricist Adrushta Deepak, Rayavarapu Satyabhama, Singampalli Ashok Kumar and B Kusuma who spoke at the meet, lauded Sri Sri's endeavour to enlighten the society through his writings.
