Some of the citizens are requesting to deregister their mobile numbers from Water Board and stop sending SMS alerts as they are not HMWWSB consumers/shifted their premises, change in mobile numbers etc.
To address this, the HMWSSB has launched a service through which any mobile user who is getting SMS alerts can deregister their mobile number from HMWSSB by giving a missed call to 040-23433833.
Consumers who wish to register their mobile number with HMWSSB can send SMS to 9248042525 as REGMOB<space><CAN><space><Latest Bill Number>. Example: REGMOB 022122300 D000001.
