Women techies raise funds to develop Balanagar Govt School. S&P CAPITAL IQ conducted a Community Impact Month (CIM) at the Khaitalapur Government Primary School in Balanagar as part of its CSR activity.
S&P CAPITAL IQ conducted a Community Impact Month (CIM) at the Khaitalapur Government Primary School in Balanagar as part of its CSR activity. A team of women techies spent time with students from class 1-5. They allocated Rs 1.2 lakh and provided necessities such as furniture, sanity kits, sports equipment, notebooks, sleeping mats, etc.
The school has now been furnished and a fresh coat of paint has been laid. Apart from this, the child engaged in group activities such as talent show and chart making etc. The employees demonstrated the importance of sanity to the kids by showing toiletry products that they included in the kit.
Mohana Indukuri, leader of the project, felt, "Better premises at the school might attract more kids which will increase literacy of the locality.” The organisation has allocated Rs 1.1 crore to 85 projects in 2015 as part of its CSR drive to bring a positive change to the lives of many needy villagers, school kids, hospitals etc.
