Mr & Miss Telangana 8 more qualify in Round 2

The second round of audition for Mr and Miss Telangana Fashion pageant was conducted on Sunday at 202 Lounge in Dilsukhnagar. In all, the organisers Hyderabad Models will conduct five auditions to select 40 candidates (20 men and women each) who will be competing in the finals. A total of 50 models have taken part in the competition so far.

Actress Darshitha Sathwick, fashion designer Uma Manasa, actor Charan Naidu and hairstylist Sunitha from Jawed Habib were the jury members for this event. They selected 4 girls and 4 boys for the finals. "I feel it’s a great opportunity for youngsters and frankly it’s very hard to get placed in this industry and Hyderabad Models’ Sunil and Vamshi are giving the perfect opportunity for youngsters at this age. I met 20 to 30 candidates and I know what sort of talent each one of them has.

You have to maintain your body and tone it whether you are fat or thin. You need to be strong this industry as 70 per cent meet with failure. But you have to take failure in your stride which will ensure success,” said Darshitha. Akshya Mishra, Anil Rathod, Pramod, Nihal, Navya Reddy, Upanasana Juhi, Varshini and Yamini were selected for finals. The third round of auditions will be held on Thursday at Lakhotia Institute of Design in Abids.
