Sabyasachi to open India Couture Week 2015

Fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee has collaborated with renowned footwear designer Christian Louboutin to open the Amazon India Couture Week 2015. Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) announced that Sabyasachi's models will don the famous red-lacquered Louboutin shoes on the ramp.

Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI, said "We are delighted that Sabyasachi Mukherjee opens the Couture Week. His collaboration with Christian Louboutin brings to Delhi a bonanza of design expertise." “FDCI presents Amazon India Couture Week, a stellar showcase bringing forth the best of India’s fashion and it is indeed a privilege to be chosen to open the week.

This year the show will be even more special as the iconic red soles by Christian Louboutin will be seen on my ramp. It will be a unique shoe collection resulting from first time ever creative collaboration between Christian Louboutin and me” says Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

To mark the creative collaboration Christian Louboutin will be specially flying to Delhi for the show. Spanning five days, Amazon India Couture Week 2015, will be held from July 29 to August 2 at Taj Palace Hotel in New Delhi.
