Andhra Bank conducted a Currency Adjudication Mela to exchange old, soiled and mutilated notes at their SR Nagar branch on Thursday. The mela was organised under the guidance of Reserve Bank of India. VS Shekhawat, general manager, RBI, who inaugurated the mela, said, “RBI, in association with public sector banks, will be arranging more such Melas. I request the public to utilise the opportunity and exchange their old notes.” He appreciated Andhra Bank for coming forward to conduct the Mela.
