Officials inspect Godavari drinking water project
The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) officials led by Managing Director B Janardhan Reddy inspected the ongoing Godavari Drinking Water Phase-I on Thursday.There is a small stretch of pipeline work remaining to be completed. Once the Godavari water is commissioned it would benefit 20 lakh people.

New app
Consumers would be able to get alerts on their smartphones on bills, payment, complaints and tanker bookings. Citizens would be able to pay bills through the app, which would be available on Android platform. Consumers will have to register with the board using their consumer account number. Consumers can download the water board app from Google Play.
