Dilon Ka Shehzada steals hearts of denizens

Taking a leaf out of the Hyderabad’s famous nawab, Quli Qutub Shah’s life, a play titled ‘Dilon Ka Shehzada’ was staged in the city. The play portrayed the well-loved tale of the poet prince for the singer-danseuse, Bhagmatt.

Their marriage led to the founding of Bhagyanagar, which came to be known later, as Hyderabad. Governor ESL Narasimhan and Mani Shankar Aiyar felicitated Mohammad Ali Baig and his wife, Noor Baig after their performance in the play.
