Maguslife Foundation celebrated World Vegan Day at GVK ONE Mall in Banjara Hills with a message to citizens to go vegan and ditch eggs. As part of their initiative, MAGUSLIFE took out a drive and asked visitors to stand on egg crates to know how the animals suffer to produce eggs.
Speaking at the event, Vibhuti Jain of Maguslife Foundation said, "18 crore hens are kept in battery cages. They are starved for days and not provided water for to facilitate forced moulting.” She appealed to citizens to ditch eggs, chicken and go pure veg to let animals live peacefully.
