Padmini Kolhapure launches her label in Hyderabad
Renowned actress Padmini Kolhapure and her friend Sita Talwalkar, launched their label ‘PadmaSitaa’ – a limited edition capsule collection, at Angasutra recently. The label PadmaSitaa adjoins the names of the partners.

Talking about the label, Padmini said, “PadmaSitaa exemplifies traditional and Indo-Western lounge-wear and resort-wear for women, including sarees, lehengas, tunics, capes, Anarkali, kurtas, jalabiyas, farashas and crop-tops.
The exclusivity of the label is based on best-quality fabric and expert crafts-person, where production of a single garment can take between 6 to 8 weeks. It is not a trend-inspired pursuit and the brand actively patronises the workers, who specialise in vintage, ethnic embroidery.”
Kamini Saraf of Angasutra said, “The label brings together hand-curated fabrics, vintage white zardosi appliqué and a subtle colour palette that exude sophistication.”
