85 year old gets fixed teeth implants
In a remarkable achievement, city-based dentist and implantologist Dr Ajay Krishna of Focus Dental Care performed a procedure that provides complete replacement of missing teeth with fixed implants.The procedure was performed in an 85-year old man, Sambashiva Rao in three days in a cost-effective and less painful surgery.

Announcing the feat on Monday, Dr Ajay said, "Old age comes with many hardships particularly health, many old people often loose teeth and chewing becomes very difficult. But, with implants a complete fixed teeth replacement is possible. Usually people take dentures, which often looks clumsy and are much uncomfortable in their usage, and it is hard to maintain them as well.”
“With rising number of patients with tooth implant requirements, many of them avoid it just because of its high cost,” informed the doctor.The replacement of missing teeth usually requires around 8-10 implants in each jaw. Dr Ajay's "Fixed Teeth in three Days" process can be completed in a single appointment. The personalised procedure takes place in two to three hours and depends on the specifics of each patient.
