Hyderabad: Taking cue from Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to get the majority of seats and Mayor post, the ministers, MPs and MLAs are making a whirlwind campaign for GHMC election.
Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav Sunday toured several areas in the city and appealed to the people to vote for the TRS candidates to unfurl pink colour flag on the GHMC for transforming Hyderabad as a global city.
The TRS government has earmarked Rs 25,000 crore for Hyderabad development, growth and rapid progress. The city will go on fast pace once the people extend support to it in the civic polls, he said.
TRS government, he said, is implementing welfare schemes like Shadi Mubarak, Kalyana Lakshmi and pensions and almost doubling of the salaries of the employees.
To overcome traffic snarls, skyways and modern transport system of multi-level separators are being planned, the minister said. Besides providing double bedroom houses for the poor and slum dwellers, TRS was able to provide 24-hour power supply in the city, Talasani said.
The Minister also said that they are regularising illegal structures and plots in the city to help the occupants make a comfort living. The people have to support the TRS in the civic polls to implement its manifesto for persistent development of the city, he added.
