Hyderabad is set to become the first city to host the national security seminar. Jointly organised by Kenes Exhibitons and Hitex, with support from Cyberabad Police, the Safety Security India 2016 will be held at Hitex Convention Centre from March 17. Over 60 trade exhibitors and upto 3,000 visitors are expected to participate in the event.

Hyderabad is set to become the first city to host the national security seminar. Jointly organised by Kenes Exhibitons and Hitex, with support from Cyberabad Police, the Safety Security India 2016 will be held at Hitex Convention Centre from March 17. Over 60 trade exhibitors and upto 3,000 visitors are expected to participate in the event.

The exhibitors will include companies offering Control and Surveillance, Hold-up, Intruder and Theft Alarm, Construction Fire Protection, Fire Alarm Protection, Smoke and Gas Warning Equipment, Special Vehicle and Equipment, Rescue and Protective Clothing, Industrial Safety, Biochemical and Radiation Detectors besides others.

Hyderabad is emerging as an important investor destination with a large industry and employee workforce; therefore, it being the city to hold a national exposition on the issue comes at the right time. The event will have two days of conference that will cover topics on safety and security in India ranging from human safety, workmen safety, fire safety and disaster management, industrial safety and electrical safety.

The keynote speaker is Michael C Mullins, Consul General US Consulate, Hyderabad and a bevy of security experts like KC Reddy, Former Chief Security Advisor at the United Nations, Swaranjit Sen, Former DGP of Police Andhra Pradesh, Dr Kanneganti Ramesh, Founder and Executive Director (Centre for Human Security Studies) will share their expertise. K Padmanabaiah, Chairman ASCI and Former Secretary to Union Home Ministry will deliver the Valedictory address.
