Vivekananda Residential School, Karimnagar bestowed upon its students the ability to be future leaders of the world keeping up with this thought, when it held its investiture which marked the inaugural of the Junior Student Governing Council for the Academic Session 2016-2017.

House Captains, Vice Captains, Sports Captains, Sports Vice Captains and Prefects were concordantly selected for the council from the four houses in the school i.e. Prakasham, Gandhi, Nehru and Subash.
Harjoth Kaur, Asst. Professor SRR Govt Arts & Science College addressed the gathering. She explained a simple story of three frogs. The story gently conveyed the message, that we must all freely and fearlessly follow our hearts, while remaining continuously cautious of our responsibilities.
She invested the badges for the Student Governing Council. Principal of the Institution T Lalitha Kumari reinforced that she hoped the new council will dig in their heels to carry the citizenship programme to a new and novel height.
She explained about the three D’s to success which are Determination, Dedication and Discipline. The Chairman Sudhkar Rao Polsani congratulated the newly elected Governing Council and gave wishes in accomplishing their charge.
