The school cabinet at St. Andrews School, Keesara began their term as captains with the swearing-in ceremony held on the campus on Wednesday.

It was a solemn occasion where the young students of classes VIII & IX were prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school.

The school Cabinet took the oath of office and received their badges and sashes. The student choir instilled pride in the students as the anthems were sung, while the captains led their houses in a smart and crisp march past.

The cultural programme revolved around the theme, ‘Reaching for the Stars'. The tiny-tots from St. Andrews Prep Schools entertained the audience with their vibrant butterfly dance, grooving to the beats of “I like to move it, move it”, bagging kudos from all.

The peppy and zestful ribbon and pom-pom dance, forming a star, by the students of LKG – Class IX captivated the audience.

In his message, AM Emanuel, Chairman, AE Group, congratulated the new cabinet and apprised them of their responsibilities and urged them to uphold the rich traditions of the school.

Further, he encouraged parents to work in tandem with the teachers and the school to bring up children as good human beings.

Hyacinth Emanuel, Managing Director, St. Andrews School, principal, staff and parents were present at the occasion.
