Telangana Social and Tribal Welfare Educational Institutions (TSWREI) in collaboration with the KAARMIC Education Services, Hyderabad, conducted ‘The Young Leaders Summit’ from August 20-23 for the captains and vice-captains of the social and tribal welfare residential institutions. RS Praveen Kumar, Secretary, TSWREI inaugurated the workshop at APARD, Hyderabad.

Hyderabad: Telangana Social and Tribal Welfare Educational Institutions (TSWREI) in collaboration with the KAARMIC Education Services, Hyderabad, conducted ‘The Young Leaders Summit’ from August 20-23 for the captains and vice-captains of the social and tribal welfare residential institutions. RS Praveen Kumar, Secretary, TSWREI inaugurated the workshop at APARD, Hyderabad.

Speaking on the occasion he said that the Social and Tribal Welfare Educational Institutions have been at the forefront in promoting pioneering initiatives aimed at identifying and grooming promising marginalised students for leadership roles.

Speaking to media persons, the Secretary said that change has to start from the school itself. It should always be a bottom to top approach, he said. The leaders should work towards solving problems at school level in a collaborative manner and advised the young leaders to create more leaders within the school.

The workshop received an overwhelming response from the young leaders and they said that the workshop helped them a great deal in honing their leadership skills. The young leaders said that they will strive hard to bring about a positive change in the functioning their institutions.
