He spoke about his journey, when his parents sold their plot to help him to buy his first gun for shooting. He said that he started his academy because he didn’t want other parents to sell their plots. He was truly inspirational.

Bronze Medalist – London Olympic Games 2012, runs the one of its kind ‘Gun for Glory Shooting Academy’ with 15 branches across the country. He spoke about his journey, when his parents sold their plot to help him to buy his first gun for shooting. He said that he started his academy because he didn’t want other parents to sell their plots. He was truly inspirational.
“Three aspects are important - identifying talent, right guidance and right equipment. The academy has a unique talent search program for children aged 11-15 years across India; they are adopted by the Gagan Narang Sports Promotion Foundation and provided free coaching and training under its scholarships in addition to providing education. ‘Time’ is everything; what I achieved in the last 15 years – today - it can be achieved in half the time with the correct training and that is my motivation behind “Guns For Glory.

He explained how everyone uses technology, but in his own way. “More than 400 million people are using internet and 220 million people are using smart phone and we Indians are using global technology in our best way.”

founder of The Sri Lankan Blue Whale Project, the first national geographic explorer from Sri Lanka spoke at the event. She is a marine biologist, ocean educator and pioneer of Blue Whale research within the Northern Indian Ocean. She shared, “I was six-year-old, I had an audacious dream of becoming an adventurer scientist inspired by the wild explorers I would see in National Geographic magazines.” She crafted her future by stepping outside the box and dream beyond the boundaries and confines of her gender, culture and other stereotypes that society had placed on her even before she was able to count backwards from 100.

Director Of Emergency Medicine Learning Center And Research at the GVK Emergency Management Research Institute in Hyderabad is the man behind 108- the emergency service. He said, “We had mentored and trained over 260,000 professionals, doctors, nurses, EMTs/paramedics and first responders etc. This emergency number is respected by every religion.” He spoke about the three aspects - sense, reach and care which play important role in emergency. “We are building blocks of innovation and now we have even boat ambulance and two wheeler ambulances,” he added.
