The orders were issued following a decision taken by both the Central and the State governments to widen the NH after considering the request by several people’s representatives of the district, besides the representations by Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao, native of Karimnagar district and Nizamabad MP K Kavitha to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on the issue. 

Jagtial: A sea change is going to take place in Jagtial district, following the State government orders to lay a four-lane highway (NH 63) from Gandi Hanuman to Rayapatnam towards the end of Dharmapuri.

The orders were issued following a decision taken by both the Central and the State governments to widen the NH after considering the request by several people’s representatives of the district, besides the representations by Maharashtra Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao, native of Karimnagar district and Nizamabad MP K Kavitha to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on the issue.

The people’s representatives moved by the several accidents took place frequently claiming several lives due to the bad road earlier.
The Centre has released Rs 400 crore for the road widening works of NH, after giving recognition to NH 63. Once the works are completed, commuters can have a hassle-free journey in Metpalli, Korutla and Jagtial districts.
