Participating in an endeavour to promote digital literacy, Andhra Bank will set up a stall at the upcoming two-day ‘Digidhan Mela Hyderabad’ at People’s Plaza. The announcement came from General Manager of the bank S Trinath Sridhar on Tuesday.

Participating in an endeavour to promote digital literacy, Andhra Bank will set up a stall at the upcoming two-day ‘Digidhan Mela Hyderabad’ at People’s Plaza. The announcement came from General Manager of the bank S Trinath Sridhar on Tuesday.

“We are opening out bank’s stall from 9am to 8pm on Thursday and Friday,” he said.

The mela is organised by Central and State governments to promote the habit of digital financial literacy among people and boost efforts towards cashless economy.

In this regard the facilities at the stall will include Aadhar Enabled Payment Systems (AEPS), cardless transactions, Aadhar and mobile seeding to bank accounts, account opening in E KYC mode, assistance and training in installation/usage of AEPS, USSD, UPI app and bank e-wallets, registration and distribution of debit cards/ prepaid cards, registration of PoS machines/sale of PoS machines or AEPS devices and mobile ATM facility.
