Students are studying hard for 10 to 12 hours per day and concentrating on subjects which are tough to them. Sharing their feelings and fears with The Hans India ahead of their exams, students of government and private schools revealed how hard they are preparing for the exams.

Vinay Kumar of Silver Crown High school said that he study for 10 to 12 hours per day. ‘I am somewhat weak in Mathematics but I hope to get more marks with regular practice and by following my teachers’ suggestions.

Some suggestions
Plan a time-table mentioning the subject areas to be covered.
Shed all fears
Make short notes while studying.
Study at a place where you feel comfortable.
Sleep six to eight hours a day and take nutritious diet.
Maintain neat handwriting.

Sahana of SM Concept High School was confident of getting 10/10 GPA in SSC exams as she is preparing hard for the exams. ‘My dream is to become Collector like that of Warangal Urban Collector Kata Amrapali and will start preparations to fulfil my dream after SSC exams,’ she added.

S Haritha , a student of ZP High School, said that scoring good marks in SSC is the first step towards getting admission in good institutions, that too free of cost. She said that she is studying hard spending more than 10 hours per day in solving different practice papers and questions papers of previous years.

Prof Shravan Yadav said now-a-days students are preparing very hard for all competitive examinations, especially SSC students are preparing hard as it is the pillar to pursue one’s career in higher education and it determines which stream a student chooses in the plus II level.

Educationists and counsellors opined that it is important for students not to let stress sit heavy on them. Students must realise that tenth class examinations will open new avenues of opportunities in the world of education.

He urged the parents to ensure peace of mind for their wards, who are appearing for SSC exams. He felt that constant pressure on students would have a negative impact and lead to poor performance in the examinations.
