​Khammam: The representatives of Telangana Union of Working Journalists (TUWJ) requested the District Collector DS Lokesh Kumar to issue the accreditation cards that would work in united Khammam district.

Speaking on the occasion, TUWJ General Secretary Syed Ismail said like that of Ranga Reddy and Mahabubnagar districts, the accreditation cards must be issued to all the journalists that would work in both the districts of Khammam and Bhadradri Kothagudem.

The cards which were issued one month ago restrict them to present Khammam district, due to which many journalists were facing problems in discharging their duties from other districts.

He requested the Collector to take initiation and issue the orders to the officials of RTC department to allow their cards for both the districts.

Responding to TUWJ members, Lokesh Kumar ordered the District Public Relation Officer to take necessary steps for issuing the accreditation cards that would work in both districts.

TUWJ district president Akuthota Adi Narayana, State Committee member Panuganti Ravinder, TEMJU district president Adapala Nagendar, Bollam Srinivas, G N Rao, Satupati Ramaiah and V Santhosh and others were part of the delegation.
