While people are opting for any route possible to quench their thirst, the GHMC has come up with an alternative to provide drinking water to people by selling it at Rs two for 20 litres.

People including children are seen waiting in the hot sun as they queue their bottles at a sponsored mineral water plant in Noorkhan Bazar in the Old City on Thursday.
