DIG all praise for Asifabad police
Karimnagar range DIG Ravi Varma has lauded the functioning of the police of Kumaram Bheem Asifabad district and advised them to go ahead with discipline and with public cooperation.

Superintendent of Police Sunpreet Singh extended cordial welcome to the DIG, who is on a visit to the district, and presented him with a bouquet.
Later, the DIG enquired the SP about the crime rate, security measures for Ganesh festival and Bakrid. He asked the police personnel to work as a team with support from various government departments and exchange information with the border police.
Asking the police to go ahead with existing development programmes, he advised them to take up awareness programmes for tribals. He said that the district police are ahead of others in using mobile applications, Automated Fingerprint Information System (AFIS) application and Rapid Cops application using the technology.
Later the DIG inspected the proposed site for the SP office in Asifabad. Kagaznagar DSP Habib Khan, Kagaz Nagar Rural CI Prasada Rao, Rebbena SI Naresh Kumar, Kerameri SI Satyanarayana, NIB in-charge J Shyam Sunder, passport officer Murali, PRO Manohar and others were there during the DIG visit.
