Nalgonda: Ruling TRS party leaders are crossing the swords while selecting members for the Farmer Coordination Committees in constituencies where two or more than two power centres are located.

In Devarakonda constituency, political differences between local MLA Ravindra Kumar and ZP Chairman Balu Naik are creating headache for the party high command and giving scope for the opposition to mudsling the ruling party. Making the matters worse, both leaders are not losing out any opportunity to strengthen themselves.

The differences between the said leaders came to light several times during the fund allocation to the constituency during the ZP meetings and official postings.
Continuing their efforts to get political upper hand in the Devarakonda constituency, both leaders are trying to induct more members of their faction into farmer panels.

In this connection, group members of Balu Naik expressing their concern lodged a complaint with Minister G Jagadish Reddy over the MLA’s unilateral decision in selection of members for farmer panels.

The Minister after listening to both groups promised them to take the matter to the notice of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. Meanwhile, locals opined political war between the two leaders has been hampering the development of the constituency and also unity in the party.

It is also learnt that the government officials were facing music while selecting the beneficiaries for government schemes and recommendations with regard to developmental works and committees.
