Jude Law misses living in Rome

Actor Jude Law, who spent nine months living in Rome last year, says he is missing the capital of Italy greatly.

The 43-year-old actor, who was born in Lewisham in London, had a memorable time living in Rome and getting to know its people.

"I was happy, inspired, I enjoyed every single moment (of living in Rome). I was in an apartment close to the Campidoglio, I went running everyday around the Circus Maximus. I saw the city at 5am, with just street cleaners," Jude said.

He added: "I had coffee in bars with truck drivers. I adored the rhythm of Rome, busy but less agitated than London, cosmopolitan but less anxious than New York. It's easy to visit and every walk is a miracle. You are walking with someone and at a certain point, here it is the Trevi Fountain, oh my God, that's the Vatican. Amazing. I miss that."

The actor spoke about his love for Rome in an interview with Italy's Vanity Fair magazine.
