Align research with aerospace activities, students told
Align Research With Aerospace Activities, Students Told. Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) jointly collaborated with Russia for fifth generation fighter aircraft concept, Padmabhushan Dr VK Saraswat stated.
Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) jointly collaborated with Russia for fifth generation fighter aircraft concept, Padmabhushan Dr VK Saraswat stated. He participated as a chief guest in a National Seminar on ‘Modern Aircraft Systems’, hosted by GITAM University in association with Aeronautical Society of India Hyderabad Chapter on Monday.
He raised his concerns regarding the challenges that aerospace domain is facing in terms of pollution, energy conservation and cost involved. He suggested the solutions stating the importance of usage of renewable energy sources such as solar and lithium polymer batteries.
Dr Saraswat emphasised about the present and future facet of aerospace domain in India. In this connection he mentioned the testing of Kaveri engine in Russian aircraft which was successful for 55 flying hours. He further explained the present situation of LCA aircraft mentioning it to be in flight test modules. He elucidated the road map of Indian aeronautical domain for high end capabilities and technologies to be developed by the end of 2030.
