Vignan University gets Cambridge award
In the ‘Annual Coordinators Workshop’ held at Hotel Golkonda in Hyderabad, the University of Cambridge presented the ‘Emerging Star’ for the year 2016 award, to Vignan University recognising it for its ‘Continuous Excellence’ in upgrading student standards on English and administering Cambridge certification exams to its students.

Vignans University has an MoU with Cambridge University and is an authorised Cambridge English Exam Centre in Andhra Pradesh. It offers training and testing facilities for ESOL exams, i.e., for learners of English from the beginner to the corporate level users of the language.
The Chairman, Dr Lavu Rathaiah, Vice-Chairman, L Krishnadevarayulu of Vignan Group, Vice-Chancellor, Dr C Thangaraj, Rector, Dr B Rammoorthy, Registrar, Dr Cmde. M Raghunathan, the Deans, and HoDs congratulated the Department of English on winning the award and appreciated them on their good work.
