Relationships change with time, but many of us just want to be spend time with our school and college friends. The Hyderabad Comic Con organised a special Friendship Day ‘Board Gaming Bash’ at White Board Café in Hitec City on Sunday.

The event provided a perfect opportunity for people to have a memorable Friendship Day. A free table-top gaming was set up, which was a mix of classic and new games; participants relived the good old days playing these. Upto a hundred members took part in it and enjoyed games like ‘Ticket to ride’, ‘Cross track’, ‘Die macher’, ‘Luck of the draw’, ‘Kerplunk’ and ‘Crokinale’.

Commenting about the event, organiser Siddharth said, “This is the first time that Comic Con and Hyderabad’s original and oldest board gaming community organised an event on this kind. Usually, we conduct board gaming in Banjara Hills every Saturday. So, this year we thought that we can spread awareness about upcoming event Comic Con bash and people can also spend their time with friends.”

“I have seen many people enjoying the board games, meeting their childhood friends and remembering those days of ‘Snake and Ladder’, ‘Monopoly’ etc.,” he added. For most attendees, it was a reunion of sorts. “I am meeting my childhood friend after 10 years,” said Tamanna Khan, an employee at the venue. “This event has made my Friendship Day really memorable,” she said.
