As part of the celebrations competitions in essay writing, cartoon/poster, slogan and quiz on vigilance were conducted for the employees, DAE/CISF colony residents and AECS children.
As part of the valedictory ceremony Mahesh M Bhagwat, Commissioner of Police - Rachakonda Police Commissionerate along with G Kalyanakrishnan, Chairman & Chief Executive of NFC and Dr RP Acharya, Deputy Chief Executive, NFC were present.
Kalyanakrishnan highlighted that NFC is following transparent systems in their Purchase and Works Procedures, etc. He advised the employees that to strengthen the vigilance system, they should come forward with specific complaints against the corrupt practices, if any.
Meanwhile, Bhagwat shared the difficulties faced by the police in dealing with corruption. He emphasised that under the present era of transparent governance, everybody needs to be vigilant so that the public can take government employees as role model.
To enunciate the transparency in police system, he mentioned that CCTV cameras have been installed in public places and at the police stations. “They have introduced several changes in the system to bring transparency and citizen friendly policies,” he said.
