St Anns’ girls are basketball champs

Mehdipatnam: The team of girls of St Anns Junior College beat their opponents St Francis Junior College to win the U-19 Girls Basketball tournament held at its premises here recently. The team won 30-16 in which Sharon and Srivani scored 10 baskets each and Muskan scored eight.

Principal of the college, Sister G Mounika presented the winner’s trophy to the team at the presentation ceremony in which Thrisiamma, Physical Director and Mohd Nayeemuddin, coach were present.
