Celebrating Nostalgia in Apollo Foundation Theatre

Hyderabad: The eighth month event - Celebrating Nostalgia- of the city-based Karaoke music group Dakshin Dhwani is to be held on Saturday, February 24 from 6/30 pm onwards at Apollo Foundation Theatre, Film Nagar, Jubilee Hills.

The group will take up the works of all those cine celebrities, as per its criteria, who were born and who died in the month of February.

From playback singer Talat Mahmood and lyricist Naqsh Lyallpuri at one end whose birthdays fall on the same day, in all there are 14 big names which include film directors like Kamal Amrohi, Vijay Anand and Manmohan Desai and music directors like Ravindra Jain whose works will be rendered as songs and/or shown as video clips on that evening.

The endeavour of the enthusiasts would continue to keep alive the era of the golden hits in Hindi cinema.
