Langer Houz crossroads inhabit many small scale watch repair, florist and other business stores most of them have extended up to the narrow road which is leading to traffic problems.

Despite warnings given by the traffic police it still continued to be the same due to which police personnel on Saturday started destroying the extended stores in the market which was causing inconveniences to the commuters.

Watch repair store owner Anwar said “they just informed us to push our stores back an hour ago and when we did not move police started breaking our store without any further notice. During the drive my store banner was smashed because of which we had to close down the store”.

Sridhar an electrical store owner said “they have taken away the air coolers which were kept out in display, traffic is because of bad road condition not because our stores”. Traffic police demolish shops
