Gusty winds startle citizens

The pre-monsoon rains and thunderstorms, coupled with gusty winds scared the life out of people travelling between Gachibowli and Madhapur. Thunderstorm with gusty wind at a speed above 30 kmph and rain lashed city. People travelling on two-wheelers stopped at Gachibowli for the wind to subside.
Gachibowli: The pre-monsoon rains and thunderstorms, coupled with gusty winds scared the life out of people travelling between Gachibowli and Madhapur. Thunderstorm with gusty wind at a speed above 30 kmph and rain lashed city. People travelling on two-wheelers stopped at Gachibowli for the wind to subside.
Many passers-by had a close shave as tin sheets and branches of trees fell on the road due to heavy winds blowing at high speed. In some areas electricity poles fell too. The rain and wind also resulted in disruption of power supply in the neighbouring localities.
