Plot owners protest against land sharks
Plot owners at Durga Nagar protested here on Tuesday alleging that land sharks encroached their plots.
Kapra: Plot owners at Durga Nagar protested here on Tuesday alleging that land sharks encroached their plots.
Colony President Sangu Madan Singh along with secretary Raju Goud said that the owners purchased 44 plots in 1994 in four acres bearing survey number 11. The plot owners requested the Government to bail out their land from the clutches of the land sharks. They demanded strict action against the encroachers.
Sangu Madan Singh said that many used their lifelong savings to buy the plots and few others banked on only these plots and did not purchase anywhere else in the city. Uppal Congress party in-charge Bandari Lakshma Reddy extended his support to them.
Congress leaders Indraiah, Mahesh, Narasimha Reddy, PMV Prasad, Gopal Reddy, Venkat Reddy, Venkat Reddy, L Nagender, Naveen Kumar Goud were present.
