Goud launches devp works worth `1.25 cr
With regards to the development of Tarnaka division, Minister of Excise and Prohibition T Padma Rao Goud inaugurated various development works worth Rs 1.25 crore, here on Monday.
Tarnaka: With regards to the development of Tarnaka division, Minister of Excise and Prohibition T Padma Rao Goud inaugurated various development works worth Rs 1.25 crore, here on Monday. As part of the programme, he gave a green signal to the construction works of storm water drains to the tune of Rs 92 lakh and also the laying of CC roads that amounts to Rs 34 lakh.
Keeping in view of the monsoon ahead, he said that,” We will ensure that there is no sewerage overflow and the works of extending the Lalapet culvert will be taken up soon to prevent inundation of colonies and also carry out repair works of Lalapet Bridge.
Adding to it, he said that the government came up with a model market and also completed water reservoir at Santinagar. The programme was attended by Alakunta Saraswati, Tarnaka corporator, Ravi Kumar, GHMC sub-commissioner, senior officers, party leaders and others.
