It is common in many families that they visit their native places during summer season. As schools have holidays, the children turn up at their grandparent houses, which are usually in villages.

Children whose parents are working different towns and cities far away from here gathered in this summer and actively involving in rural games. Kabbaddi, Kho-Kho and of course, cricket are the prime sports for them. Ponds and tanks are added ornaments in the villages. Children are very much happy to take a dip in village tanks.

Unlike big towns and cities, villages do not have swimming pools and experienced coaches. But the tanks are serving like swimming pools and expert swimmers are readily available in village. While speaking on the occasion, an elder mans said that they are accompanying the children so that any unwanted mishaps should not be occurred. Elders along with children are enjoying in the rural swimming pools while beating the heat.
