Constituency Congress party in charge Lakshma Reddy graced the occasion. Shanthi Shekar said that there was a tradition of providing annadanam on Thursday at the temple and we thought of doing so. Rakshita, a devotee, who savoured the food said, “There is something about the temple which draws me to it and the food too tastes divine, whoever is the provider.
Also, there is a belief that anyone who prays here gets his or her wish fulfilled.” The annadanam was for 1,000 people. Many residing in and around Raghavendra Nagar visited the temple and had food.
Temple committee members Mallesh Yadav, Narasimha and Damodar Reddy, Congress leaders Yadagiri, Katta Buchanna Goud, Rajesh Goud, Suganakar, Chandrashekar, Adilakshmi and Suvana were present. Mallesh Yadav said, “We are hopeful that many more people would come forward to annadanam service. It was a noble gesture.
