MLA flags off rally to create awareness on hypertension
Legislator Arekapudi Gandhi on Thursday flagged off a rally orgnised by Sri Sri Holistic Hospital in Hydernagar division to create awareness about hypertension to mark the World Hypertension Day.
Nizampet: Legislator Arekapudi Gandhi on Thursday flagged off a rally orgnised by Sri Sri Holistic Hospital in Hydernagar division to create awareness about hypertension to mark the World Hypertension Day.
Addressing the participants, he pointed out that many were suffering from hypertension because of lack of awareness, lifestyle, food habits, and consumption of salt, lack of sleep, stress, liquor consumption, smoking and lack of exercise.
Gandhi said there was a need for creating proper awareness among people on the need for giving up bad habits, consuming less salt, taking balanced food and reducing stress. He praised the hospital management for conducting the rally. Representatives of the hospital management, staff, were among those present.
