Balanagar: Corporator Kanduri Narender Acharya on Friday inspected the underground drainage work in Vani Society, Ferozguda, along with the contractor, after receiving complaints from residents of the colony and apartments regarding problems facing them because of UGD built 20 years back.
Later he said that 450 mm diameter pipeline was being laid to replace the old one. This would permanently solve the drainage problems. Acharya suggested to the contractor to maintain quality in the work and complete it expeditiously so as to avoid any inconvenience to the residents. Among those present were Mandadi Sudhakar Reddy and local residents.
