In all, 200 police personnel, led by DCP Venkateswara Rao on Sunday conducted a cordon and search operations near Rajiv Gruhakalpa colony under Bachupalli police stations. The police went door-to-door and recorded information regarding how many people live in the house and enquired the housemates about their occupation.

The police went door-to-door and recorded information regarding how many people live in the house and enquired the housemates about their occupation.
The police verified their Aadhaar card number, driving license, vehicle documents and collected phone numbers and finger prints from suspected persons. The police seized 24 two-wheelers, 13 three-wheelers and four cars not having valid papers. The DCP called upon people to voluntarily come forward to share information about irregularities taking place in their colonies.
