He also laid the foundation stone for the multipurpose community hall to be built at a cost of Rs 75 lakh and the Rs 70-lakh road works in the village. Terming the state as number one in terms of development in the country, he said that the picture of the health sector has been completely transformed with provision of various amenities in the state of the art hospitals- right from the PHCs to super specialty hospitals. Modern equipment has been provided in hospitals. KCR kits have been introduced for the benefit of expectant mothers.

People of the state could save a whopping Rs 12,500 crore with the introduction of KCR kits, he said blaming the previous regimes for not bothering to pay attention to the issue. The erstwhile rulers devised schemes with an eye on the vote bank, but not for the good of people, he said adding, in sharp contrast the TRS government has been striving for the people’s welfare.

He listed out Shadi Mubarak, Kalyana Lakshmi, Rytu Bandhu, input subsidy, life insurance cover for the farmers as some of the achievements of the TRS government. Under the life insurance cover for the farmers, the bereaved family will get Rs 5 lakh insurance benefits within 10 days of death of the bread-winner in the family.

Children are getting vaccinated against the incidence of various diseases, he said hinting at government launching free eye camp in August. The reports would be made online. Telangana government launched free diagnostic services for the benefit of the poor, he said. The number 108 and 102 ambulance services have been increased and 108 bike ambulances have been started in rural areas, he said. Medchal legislator Malipeddi Sudheer Reddy and others took part in the programme.
