15,200 farmers received `14.13 cr in Maheshwaram mandal: Teegala
MLA Teegala Krishna Reddy discussed various development and welfare activities in a general body meeting held at MPDO office here on Wednesday. Under Rythu Bandhu scheme, Rs 14.13 crore sanctioned to 15,200 farmers in Maheshwaram mandal, Rs 18.97 crore to 15,800 farmers in Kandukur mandal and Rs 1.96 crore to 2,473 farmers in Balapur mandal.

Under Rythu Bandhu scheme, Rs 14.13 crore sanctioned to 15,200 farmers in Maheshwaram mandal, Rs 18.97 crore to 15,800 farmers in Kandukur mandal and Rs 1.96 crore to 2,473 farmers in Balapur mandal.
Maheshwaram mandal got sanctioned Rs 4, 28, 16,000 through MLA and NRGS funds. Maheshwaram and Kandukur got sanctioned Rs five crore under ST sub plan. CC roads and underground drainage sanctioned to thandas in Maheshwaram mandal. On 2BHK scheme, 2,896 allotted to Mankhal, 396 to Tummalur, 2376 houses to Mansonpally.
The low turnout of officials and public representatives has surprised those who attended the meet. Out of 25 sarpanches only 15 sarpanches and out of 19 MPTC only seven were attended. The officials failed to give proper explanation on problems raised by the public representatives.
