The word yoga is derived from the word Yog, which means in the Rigveda the unity. The benefits of practicing are not far to seek.

In fact, there are many. The limbs will become stronger. Body’s immunity power increases. People practicing yoga will shed laziness. It improves concentration. According to myths, Muslims keep themselves aloof from yoga. But people of Pakistan and Afghanistan and 40 other Arab nations practice yoga. Besides the western world, the yoga is popular in erstwhile communist countries of the Russia and China.
